IMO it is in the public interest. He is an influential government minister and she is a right-wing tabloid journalist. She will feed her ideologies into government through him and he will promote and influence his though her. It will be interesting to see if it is an amicable bust-up, or if she can't resist the pressure to do an exposé in him in a week or so. :scratchhead:

Surely, sooner or later, we'll run out of Tory cabinet ministers for the remainers to bitch about ?

The Roman Empire eventually it is said, failed because of 8 main causes.
One of those main causes was political rot and corruption in the Senate.
I’m minded to declare “et tu Boris”!

Oh, another major factor was the decline in slave labour, as the successes of the legions in foreign fields dried up, and so the capture of slaves to transport to Italy, to work the fields, construction, and maintenance of Rome also dried up.
Leaving aside the slave element, the parallels with the labour shortage in Britain, is quite interesting.

”Beware the ides of Brexit”….

Gove has chosen a life in the public eye . The public not only deserve to know but need to know the morals and background of a person they will be asked to vote into high office. If he can’t stand the scrutiny he should change his job !
As for his wife this sort of thing is meat and drink to her. Delving into others personal lives is how she has made her living.
