GPS HELP

Hoping someone can help me out, just got a new tractor that’s got sf1 fitted, been doing a little bit topping with it and trying to get the gps set correctly, it’s a 3000 tri blade topper, I’ve set the working width to 2.72 as it’s 2.75 so allowing a little bit over lap, got my track spacing set the same, when I go up and down it’s fine there are no misses but when I try to do a brick there is a miss on the last run of about 4inches maybe, I’m not going away from the field so unsure as to why it’s doing it. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It'll just be the drift in satellites with being on sf1, 3cm isn't much margin for sf1.

Does it match up going back and forward off one side?

Usually get away with 5cm less and it'll be fine

I'd say you might need a bit of an offset

Have you recently done a tmc calibration? It can make a difference. Is the topper pulling 100% straight behind the tractor?
you may need to put a small offset in if it’s not pulling straight. A 5 cm offset can make a massive difference

It’s not 100 straight, there’s a bit movement on the top link. I’ll have another fiddle about with it when I’m back on another time. The tractor is brand new so should it need a tmc calibration? Thanks.

The TCM calibration is for the dome to learn where it is on the tractor basically. Each time you move a dome between machines you should do a TCM calibration, new tractor or not.

Not usually.

There's no 2 the same especially on sf1 we've got 2 I drill with a 7930 and if I go in to spread fert after the other 1 won't follow the same tracks exactly it can be spot on at each end of a field but off in the middle

Yes give it a calibration you can do it yourself. If it’s new I’d check the dimensions are correct in the setting for the reciever. Do a a b line and turn around and come back on it to see if it exactly the same both ways.
