GPS Tracker watch for father with dementia

Sorry if this has been asked before but has anyone any recommendations of gps tracker watches or similar suitable for someone with dementia?

My father has early onset dementia, it's not terribly bad at the moment but he is forgetful does tend to disappear out across the farm without his phone. We had a close call today but luckily my son heard him shouting and found him stuck in mud. A bit traumatic for everyone involved.

I was hoping there was a tracker watch that he wouldn't be too self conscious about wearing and he wouldn't forget to take as its actually attached to him! If I could see where he was instantly it would save a lot of worry and time while giving him some freedom on the farm that he loves while he can still enjoy it

I've seen a few online but very few actual reviews. So any advice/help gratefully received

Thank very much

My grandpa used to do that regularly and he didn't have dementia.
He once drained a big pond and decided he could probably walk across the very soft/wet mud if he had a big wooden box on each foot (apple crate).
No idea why he even wanted to do it but it was working well until he was halfway across and his foot went through the bottom of the box. :D

Was very funny to see but also could have been much worse.

I've used these..
Thanks everyone!
I've now got a curve tracker and I'm hopeful it'll do the trick. I did a couple of test runs and it seems pretty accurate. So I've now put it on the keys to his UTV and set a parameter that tells me if he's left the immediate farm area and is out across the fields. Now I can keep tabs on him and fingers crossed his next adventure won't be quite so traumatic...I know where he is and can find him!

Keep us posted please on how you find the Curve.

Well after a week or so I can thoroughly recommend the Curve.

It pings me a message when my father is on the move in his UTV and it has several different modes - every 2 hours, every 30mins, every 5 mins or every 5 seconds. So I can just have a quick check or follow exactly wherever he's going (for a set 15 mins).
You can share the app, so my mother also has it on her phone and the great thing is that my father loves it as well. It gives him the independence to go off on his own but with the reassurance that we know where he is and if he gets in trouble we'll come and find him. No more heroic struggles home across the fields, near killing himself!

Thanks everyone!

Anyone tried these?

They don’t have a SIM card, they need another device to connect to, to then connect to the network and be ‘discoverable’.
The Vodafone GPS tracker mentioned above is a far better option, or something similar from another operator.

Great idea , I used to be a full time tracker for my father when he had dementia, I can laugh about his antics but so easily could go so wrong tracker is a great idea , had a friend had them sewed into lining of coats / cloths etc .
