Grabbing a rat by its tail

Found this on top of the 6610 engine a couple of mornings ago. The tractor is in daily use on the feeder wagon so gets a good rev up every morning. There was a good sized nest of straw in there and I nearly grabbed it to pull it out. My son stopped me and started to get it out with a stick and then this appeared.
I'd only put a bit of poison down a few days before so it's good to know it's working.
