Grain and storage

Another question, surely not all farmers that grow combinable crops have the storage space with all the correct facilities such as drying floors etc so for ones who don't have facilities and space what do they do with grain?am correct in saying that a company like open field will have it off them and store it?How do you sell the grain, who do contact or how do you arrange for you to sell it and someone collect it?do companies get in touch with you and if you accept there offer they bring an article along?also I know different crops have to be store separately and say for example malting barley isn't stored with feed barley but if a farmer grows for example spring feed wheat and winter feed wheat could they be stored together and vice versa with winter and spring bread making wheat? Also I see things like 'first wheat' and 'second wheat' what is that? Is second wheat a field that has had wheat on for 2 consecutive years? What are hard and soft wheat?Last thing, what is meant by like group 1,2 and 3 wheat?sorry for all the questions, just some things I would like to know.

We store for other farmers, Usually delivered in or collected at harvest. We can either sell for them or they sell it to a merchant themselves. Malting barley usually by variety kept on its own along with milling biscuits wheats. Feed wheat usually mixed. Group 1 and some 2s top milling wheats, group 3 Biscuit wheats, group 4 feed wheats. Some products require a soft wheat or hard wheat. 1st and 2nd wheats precisely that.
