Grain buckets

Grain doesn't spill out the sides, it " dribbles " over the lip on the way to the wagon with me, unless I do a bit of tippy wippy crowding/ uncrowding before setting off. This wastes time + the Manipoo don't like it. Any tips ?

Reckon that if you didn’t have the extended cutting edge you wouldn’t spill as much.

But like others have said: if you overfill it it doesn’t matter which bucket you have!

too big a bucket and you’ll probably end up finding it easier to grease the prop shaft whilst it’s leant over the wagon.

I've a tip toe bucket which used to go on the old Sanderson. If I bought an adapter bracket for it ( don't want to cut old brackets off ), would probably gain loads more crowd + wouldn't need to extend / retract the boom all the time. Win win.......apart from the cost of the adapter.

How bout Extend the side cheeks and extend the back the same so that the front/ blade is the shortest side iyswim, then the grain will ' crowd away ' from the front ...

Just will lose a bit of visability ,

My greys toe tip spills over the back as I get more crowd with the adapter on my stoll/case loader so I had a couple of bits of board on the back as a temp job. Now it's got a piece of crittal grain panel bolted on and looks a lot neater.
On the make of buckets concept engineering in Richmond do a curved side grain bucket. I was using a general purpose one of those on a jcb loadall last week moving road plainings and I thought it was a good well made bucket. Plus they don't seem daft on price.

we extended the top and sides of our grays toe-tip, it could still lose some over the top so we welded a forward racing v of 37mm flat on it's edge so the grain shot off to the sides out of the way instead of all over the loader frame.
