Grain buckets

What size grain bucket would you match to a JCB 542-70 maximum m³ & also recommended curved sides grain bucket, because they are far nicer to use.

Also what would be best made rough handling bucket for same machine

curved or straight sides dont really make a lot of difference
but having a vertical bit first before it goes to back to the top edge makes a lot of difference
so when the bucket is crowded back the sides are higher than the leading edge

I agree that is another way of doing same job, so an option.

Don't know why Xform that make nice buckets are straight sides

It is to do with reducing waste when cutting profile out of the sheet metal as curves are very wasteful as you can not nest the profile as well

as said
all to do with nesting of parts on the laser

circles are crap and a square is good for getting less scrap

There called Hybrid Buckets, the part numbers start with HB not BK.

8mm floor, curved sides, reinforced backs and according to my old list bolt on toe plate as standard but thi picture maybe a early example with out a bolt on.

When I got my 3.0 m bucket the xform did not have the curved sides so I went elsewhere, I think they started with curves at 3.5 or there about. Not sure about now. Whether you have curves or straight edge it just needs to be higher than the front edge when level then you won’t spill anything.
The Xform HB curved sides does start around 3.5m³ which is probably a bit on the big side for a 4 - 4.5 T machine

god ur quick, I work for cherry , like i did not know what xfrom did

been doing the stept front for last 20 odd years
If you work for cherry what grain bucket & rough handling bucket would you recommend for my potential next handler, appreciate your thoughts

JCB 542-70
Kramer 4007 or 4507 (if they can ever demo a machine)
