Looking to put a cheap and simple plant in to dry and clean grain but haven't a clue where to start or even what order the kit needs to go in. I assume its clean the grain before drying ?
Won't go tub dryer as hear they can be prone to skinning pulses. Have located a suitable dryer, just need help in sorting what else I will need and how to set it up.
Would also like it to be able to clean the grains up enough to plant a bit of home saved as well.
Crops I would need to process are currently OSR, Wheat, Barley, Bean & Peas, bit potentially could add Linseed and Oats and maybe Soya again if the memory fades from the last attempt.

A gravity seperator is a very useful bit of kit , can remove most weed seeds and other matter ,if used correctly can lift or reduce protein levels as well as lift bushel weights and improve vigour and germination of seed. however you do need an outlet for the screenings or grain whichever part of the as combined crop you seperate .The premium /uplift in price has to more than cover the cost /time of doing it. though it is often only 1 or 2 % that needs to be removed to gain a premium and that material can oft go as feed.It is no different than selling your grain to a merchant who then upgrades the spec and they take the uplift in £ after giving you a claim
