We tested 5 different color sorters. Price range from 45000-80000 eur.
All of them is good on separation beans, wheat, rye but when we come to small seeds ( clovers, phacelia ) then there is differences in machines - specially on kg/h!
We tried also some cheaper Chinese sorters- and they where good !!! Only when they come to Europe by dealers- they are only a bit cheaper than Italian or UK machines!

We run a satake 9 chute colour sorter will do 30 tonne an hour on easy sorting but less on more complicated crops. It will cost circa £10 a tonne to clean. Expensive fickle things. I would either take it to someone to clean then straight to destination which is what tends to happen with us or get a mobile in.

Did you find out about any prices @John ? Would be interested to know what sort of cost a small/used colour sorter would be.

Speak to Satake at Manchester, they have some stock of older, used colour sorters that might fit the bill for you. Or you could send it to me to be cleaned. [emoji6]
