Grain drying what to charge???

I am drying oats for a neighbour 21% moisture down to 12.5-13%, what should I charge ?? mecmar portable batch drier on kerosene

Not sure on charge but Crikey he’s cut them wet, usually find here once they’re fit it can rain in morning and sun out in afternoon will see them below 20

I don't know re charge but certainly on my batch drier it works out around £1 per % per t (slightly under) drying wheat using 24t diesel/elec drier.

@Woldgrain Storage posted their drying charges a while ago. Bear in mind these are for a huge continuous flow drier, not a small batch drier.

Our drying charge for '24 crop oats at 21% would be £11.35, with a 1.25% handling loss and a drying loss of 1.25% per 1% reduction.

This week we have been using our CF drier as a batch drier, drying beans down from 28%.
