Grain Maize gross margin compared to other spring combinable crops.

I have just seen the attached article in the farming press, so I was wondering how the gross margin for grain maize compares to other spring combinable crops as no financial figures mentioned in the article.
Around here ( Cotswolds) it seems to late to get a winter wheat crop in after it, so back to back spring cropping needed.
