Can anyone reccomend a company that will have a look at our the brakes and hubs on our grain trailers and give them a service?

Tilly Pass will not as far as I know take a look inside where it matters. If it's on commercial axles an independent truck garage are a good bet. You could also take it to a truck depot for a voluntary brake test. Most dealers will also do the BAGMA test which is a proper brake test, and will combine it with a service.
You could also get in touch with Andy Scarlett at Scarlett Research who runs regular training courses and do it yourself.

I’d go one stage further and say get a rolling road test done. Bagma is not the best test in the world but better than nothing.

Just slacken them off, take the hubs off and have a look. Parts normally available from Hunton Legg. Then re assemble and adjust up. Job done!

I stand corrected. Do you also now do a physical brake deceleration test of some kind, or a brake force calculation to ensure the actuators and foundation brakes are adequately sized?
