That’s why it pays to have a Weighbridge sat in the yard 👍🏼
a weigh bridge would be one of my first purchases following a lottery win ,till then I will just have to content myself with a weigher on the grain bucket plus the local weighbridge as a check on trailers and the occassional lorry as well as always offering the lorry driver a coffee and asking him to phone back once tipped with the weight and any claims,

I love just been looking at the moistures chalked up on the walls as we've been tipping grain this harvest and one load of winter barley was 13.2% and a load of wheat went in last Monday afternoon at 13.8% after Sundays 3mm of rain. The rest have all been 11-12% with a few 10's.
I'm going to hope it's raining when I load out next spring!!!!

What is the yield loss per acre between 11% and 15%??????

Why are you tagging me in this? I agree his crops generally look poor. I wouldn’t be direct drilling if I was him.
I love the theory of direct drilling it makes perfect sense. I listened to Clive give a talk a few years ago and in theory it's brilliant! I just don't think it's the answer as everybody's cropping and soil is different.

Not sure on the weight loss, not stopping though. Mine are all through a commercial store so I think my highest was 15.0 for wheat on Friday evening when I wanted to fill a trailer ready to take in sat morning and we had had some showers. Everything else has been slowly decreasing think the last load tonight will be 12% anyway saves the £15 a tonne drying in a normal sh!t year
