Depends on the type of switch. Oldies are simple on/off, newer ones need a certain resistence to switch.
The aproach of simply removing the springs under the switch will only work for so long as the switch has to be used after a certain number of hours, even my 23 year old tractor with simple on/off switch has to be switched after 50 hours or something.

Open circuit = nobody there

Closed circuit = bum on seat

If it's working, take off base cushion (two screws underneath front left and right), lift out plate, remove and dispose of two springs, reassemble, and bobs your aunties live in lover, operator always present
Not on a current Massey ,did that on mine , computer thinks theirs a bum on seat so the external pto switch wont work ,fitted a toggle switch on the seat frame normally work with the seat presence switch operational bypassed for the one pass saves waiting for the dash to tell me to hit OK to keep the pto going .

I've never come across a seat sensor that couldn't be permanently pressed, never had a deere with a seat sensor though.
Well I haven't done tons of them, only two. My JD 6910 has it and a case puma had it.
My JD 6930 has a seat switch but I haven't rigged it differently as it doesn't annoy me. With the case puma you had to dip the clutch everytime you got out of the seat which was very annoying.

The one I tried was a 2012 or something, maybe from a certain year on, who knows. Maybe it is different for different countries.
For the topicstarter, just try I suppose, make sure you have the springs and the proper torx bit in the tractor for a while to rectify it when you need to.
