Ace. I'm led to think that the only "big money" grants are for water efficiency / protection.

I think you will be surprised then. Two competitions ended on 1st December just gone:
  • Farming Innovation Programme - £1m-£3m - Small R&D partnerships
  • Feasibility Projects - £200k to £500k - To test feasibility of early stage solutions

I’m a modest man.

£150 per acre/year to stop me from flailing things that some don’t want flailed, and spraying some things that more folks don’t want sprayed.

I’ll let the drains go too and be a welcoming habilitation for ducks.

The 8 acres of pasture Ill have left after 10 years I’ll farm with fluffy native cows with a £500 per head incentive.
