Been paying £8 a bale for 7or8 years including second cut. Seems a lot some years others not to bad, it's handy to home for me and don't get a look in usually as the big boys take it all.
Don't forget to chop the bales up to you whether you tell anyone if you do

Seems too be a lot of grass let’s about this year is it really worth much if there’s any amount of grass about 🤷🏻‍♂️

Summer grass lets round here have been making over £200/ac, for poor’ish grass.
That’s what’s bringing it to the market
I think there’s so much on the market this year because land owners getting greedy and people not keen on paying it anymore.. seen quite a few big blocks up for let still being advertised after the tender deadlines this year… which says too me either nobody wants it or landowners are getting far too greedy
