Grass growth (lack of)

It hasn't been cut, so there's plenty of ground cover. What small rainfall there is infiltrate effectively.

I suspect the summer will be long and dry, so I'm resisting the temptation to bale it. I'd much rather graze it.
be rocket fuel this time of year ,with a drying wind , quality stored feed , graze later

it were dry and east winds this time last year around here, by time we got to june there were plenty of rain for rest of summer. i have noticed in recent weather patterns that we don't seem to get april showers any more

i have noticed this year where i put the bit of muck this spring that didnt get spread in the autumn the grass is deff better than the other half the field where it didnt get muck. even though we have applied fibrophos end compound fert.
got some straw based pig muck i might put some on. help feed it. doubt these fields will be cut again this year.
My dad always referred to bagged fertiliser as artificial and that’s what it is artificial you can’t beat muck I don’t think
