Was told today that some summer grazing on grass parks had made £200 an acre, up 30 on last year. Surely this is stupid and makes farm rents look reasonable.
Who said subs were going? It's ridiculous trade. I can't understand it at all.
Land owners are in for a bloody big shock when subs go
Who said subs were going?

A grass park is usually summer grazing....april-October....will be fenced possibly fertilisedexcuse the stupid question , what exactly do you call a grass park ? long term perm past ? fenced ? presumably by the sound of it always been grazed with sheep so bugs and old fescue grass maybe ,
But it's only one fat lamb. Was told today that some summer grazing on grass parks had made £200 an acre, up 30 on last year. Surely this is stupid and makes farm rents look reasonable.
Our results like for like are +£20 per acre over about 160 acres.
Demand appears to be driven by empty barns and poor grass growth so far. But £5 of the increase already gone due to fertiliser prices.
