Hi, anyone in the market for screenings, I literally have tonnes to move. Ideal for bulking up, or gate way repairs etc. They are in 500 kilo bags.

For those interested the bags contain seed from broken bags, seed from discontinued lines and seed with a lower germ count, NO WEED SEED. This mixture of seeds can be used to bulk up other mixtures, re instate worn gateways and the like and giving a green cover for recently laid water and gas mains.

brought some VNS seed of a seed co not that long ago .. lines that did not make the grade for export a hell of a lot cheeper just useing it to fill in a few gaps after the dry

Yes that is one of the situations they are ideal for. When you take the likes of Nickerson over here with bagged seed with a purity of 99.7% then there is some very viable seed going into these "gateway" type mixtures.

Would this be any good for overseeding some old grass leys to freshen them up a bit? Any clover in the mix? Only got a few acres to do though, so 500kg might be a bit much.

You don't need to waste it, I used to get all the screenings from a plant locally, fattened a lot of hoggets on it.
