I thought I would ask you this. As the Oracle of all things grass seed related suddenly.

What's the best way to open grass seed bags?

Horrible things. Can never get stitches to split and for them to pull apart.
I will send a video of bag opening tomorrow live from my shed - but if its a Hurrells seed bag cut the string tail off opposite end to the seed label then pull the loop and it slips out the length of the sack
I cant comment on what the other rag tag bunch use [emoji23]

This was an interesting find in the field from the 1800s. A bag seal from Edward and sons. Would have been torn of a bag by my great great grandfather probably

George duncans bags you have to cut the end loop and pull the 2 strings at the same time
