Grazing Mustard.

I know you can graze sheep on mustard , can you graze cattle on it and if so any problems to be aware of . Any advise would be good , Thank you for any help .

Will let you know tomorrow! We have grown it for EFA cover. Letting cows and store lambs onto it in morning. Got 50 acres of it.

It's too far on just to plough in. Haven't had a hard enough frost to kill it yet.

Yes I have done it, they didn't really like it to start, but got into it eventually, they ate the leaves and left the stalks, I doubt there is much feed value in it though.

Watch for mineral deficiencies. Think mustard blocks (especially selenium?) certain minerals.
