Grazing post slurry

I have little to do with slurry but I have some off lying grass that has been let out all summer. Went to fence it ready to move ewes onto it abs the tenant had treated it to a dose of slurry through a trailing shoe by looks of it.

How long till it’s safe to graze, in lamb ewes, dry ewe lambs and some fats.

That’s abit dramatic can you not just go by the grass being nice and clean

You’d think so with slurry but they can easily pick something up? CODD, Johnes, even possibly TB, Toxo/Enzo

Yes, I don’t want issues. I don’t have to move anything there until start of December but it would have been handier to move stuff earlier, like next week.

The current grazier is a nob. And he won’t get a renewal for next year, in fact I’ll be planting spring barley there so his slurry is a little bonus.

He won’t be happy when he gets the good news mind…
