Farm Secretary
£24,596 - £27,769 per annum
Established in 1926, Plumpton College has trained thousands of agricultural staff who now occupy leading positions within the industry. Central to our training in agriculture is our farm and we are now seeking an exceptional Farm Secretary to support us in our mission to provide an exemplar teaching and commercial resource for the college. As a key part of a 10 person team you will provide a professional service to ensue the smooth running of Lambert Farm and a seamless integration with our teaching teams. The Farm Secretary position means you will need the experience of having worked in a busy operational environment where clear processes and procedures ensure the safe and efficient running of the Farm; working closely with the Farm Manager you’ll ensure that the farm team and college staff have clear information that brings the performance of our farm to life for our students.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a farm and/or college environment and possess great communication and organisational skills. You will be a professional, committed and confident team player who has the experience and flexible approach to be able to support our farm in maintaining its excellent practice.
As well as a competitive salary (£24,596 - £27,769 per annum), you can also look forward to a great range of benefits including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (as well as up to 5 efficiency days at Christmas), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Programme and a range of staff discounts.
