A man was taken to hospital with head injuries after he was dragged and trampled by his “spooked” bull after it won a prize The Great Yorkshire Show.Appears there's been an incident with a Limousin and and handler
Haven't been since 1982.
I read somewhere they hadn't stopped the public going into the cattle building during showing.Don't know how there hasn't been more accidents involving livestock and shows.
Hope one never ends up in the crowds. Didn't like having our kids at ringside in pushchairs. I guess ignorance is bliss for most people.
Hope the guy makes a full recovery and no long term injuries.
They do make cursory efforts to exclude the public whilst the judging is in progress, barrier chains etc , but the access points aren't manned by Stewards iirc.I read somewhere they hadn't stopped the public going into the cattle building during showing.
Never been to the Yorkshire, missing out on the RWAS this year for first time in many years.
