Appears there's been an incident with a Limousin and and handler

Haven't been since 1982.

A man was taken to hospital with head injuries after he was dragged and trampled by his “spooked” bull after it won a prize The Great Yorkshire Show.

The Limousin bull was being walked out of a cattle ring after being judged at around 9.45am, when it was spooked, dragging its handler back across the ring.

The handler briefly lost consciousness after being trampled by the bull.

The handler, who briefly lost consciousness, was treated by ambulance staff, before being transferred to Harrogate District Hospital with what are thought to be non-serious head injuries.

Eyewitnesses say panic broke out as the bull charged around the ring and spectators dashed to get out of the way, however the animal was quickly brought under control.

Don't know how there hasn't been more accidents involving livestock and shows.

Hope one never ends up in the crowds. Didn't like having our kids at ringside in pushchairs. I guess ignorance is bliss for most people.

Hope the guy makes a full recovery and no long term injuries.

I read somewhere they hadn't stopped the public going into the cattle building during showing.
Never been to the Yorkshire, missing out on the RWAS this year for first time in many years.

They do make cursory efforts to exclude the public whilst the judging is in progress, barrier chains etc , but the access points aren't manned by Stewards iirc.

Anyone watch it on channel 5 tonight? The guests were natural and great. The presenters were terrible and kept looking at wrong camera! It’s an hour long show three nights with tonight being the first!

Bloody hell there is some clothes stands, practically every other stand. Why don’t they group them altogether at one end and just have a shopping village?

Traffic flow in and out is definitely getting better each year though.
