Question is if you bought green grease would you be happy not greasin your stuf only fifth as much as you previously did. I know i sure wouldnt. Handier greasin bit extra than screwin at stuf way worn bushes and bearings

ohh its green perphaps its a special grease for vegans

Yes it is for vegans and rebellious extinctionists because its made entirely from a 100% renewable and biodegradable ingredient. Its called PLC or porcine lubricant complex but us simpler sorts would know it as pig fat. So safe you can even fry your chips in it.

Some green greases are green to identify them as a Polyurea based soap thickener, rather than Lithium based that 99.9 percent of us will be using.
A Polyurea grease will last a lot longer than a Lithium based, but beware.....

Polyurea based greases are not compatible with Lithium based. You can use it as long as the bearings have been using it since day one, or have been stripped and cleaned out.

So what happens when the two meet?

This ^ is true. We use polyurea grease in everything unless the specifications specifically say not to. As above you shouldn’t mix it with a lithium grease otherwise it forms a hard grey paste.
