Anybody using this? I’ve not been able to sync the app today.

Had a message a few days ago saying it might take a while to sync at the moment
but I’ve tried a few times today unsuccessfully.

This is what I get, it gets this far and just seems to get stuck.

I have sent them a message but not had any response yet

There was a note that GLGM sent around recently about an update where the % went over 100 and the time to sync was longer. This happened on my system. Took a while but eventually it all synced ok. Since then all has been fine. Be patient or contact the helpline.

What sort of money is the annual sub?

Agronomist using GLG / Muddy Boots, I'm not sure if moving from paper to smartphone will bring a penny extra to the business.

Depends on your attitude. I use it because it’s simple to use and I am up to date with my records and have used a computer for records for years. If you are happy with paper you probably won’t see a benefit from any software.

Price was on website I can’t remember at the mo

I like it because it saves me alot of duplication, agronamist does the recs which automaticaly go on green light as job plans and i just click start finish etc when doing them.

Farmers package costs between £255 and £535 per year.

I'll give the demo version a go, but as a business I'm actively moving away from subscription services.
Cloud based tech access is not prohibitively expensive, but if I add up the bills for each provider it comes to about a months worth of my wages. I think it's time to sack Claas and their telematics sub, stop the satellite image providers sub (truth be told, after 15 years of precision farming I've twigged that the maps 'then and now' are 95% identical: it's texture and moisture, no easy fix), revert to Egnos on everything bar the drilling tractor (leave on RTX), spend £5 on a note book and a box of pens, and take a wage rise...
