Cracking under the pressure of being the poster girl for climate change, is she being pressured beyond her years by climate fanatics? I dont think she got her message across very well today either by cracking up or faking cracking up.

I'm sure @wanton dwarf will have a view .
Indeed, I've the popcorn ready!

Sorry to disappoint but I don't have any information on Greta TBH other than what you can search.

But I would say the UN IPCC, UK government departments and UK media are all involved.

Make no mistake our own government is neck deep in this propaganda war.

BTW if you don't know Greta spoke at Davos where George Soros & Al Gore were in attendance.

Just heard her nauseating adolescent tirade on the radio and was thinking of starting a thread about her...

I am not aware of her having been properly questioned by anyone, it's all kid-gloves- sh!t on that, she's bending everyone's ears with no rationally thought-out answers to the problems she highlights.

If she wants to be taken seriously in the adult world she needs to be held to the same standards - I guess that there aren't any self-righteous journalists with sufficient moral courage to risk being seen to make her cry... revolting.

Yep, that's when she first emerged alongside a social media push to advertise the fact. Why her, have any other teenagers been asked? Why have we suddenly started to run round doing as our kids tell us? Look what happened in Lord of the Flies when they were left to their own devices!

Yep, which is precisely why she is being used in the way she is.

Far too much pressure is being placed upon this child (and a child is still what she is!).
How much this pressure is self inflicted or being added to by others, worries me.

We can all hold strong opinions, but it is opinions that she holds and not facts.

Whether she is right or wrong in what she says, her stance has now certainly now become far too OTT.
No doubt further stirred up by our media.
IMO, if she is right, then there would be a lot of highly respected Scientific advisors joining her bandwagon.
Where are they?

Nonetheless, placing that much pressure (self inflicted or otherwise) on a person her age could lead to her making the ultimate sacrifice and becoming a martyr.

Would this do her cause good or harm?

World leaders should not meet or encourage her in what has undoubtedly become her adolescent fanaticism.
