Griffith trailer wheel studs.

Bit of a random question but hopefully somebody can help. I have a bit of an issue with the treads on a few of the studs on my old Griffith drop side trailer. I can’t really have it in bits for ages waiting on parts so was hoping somebody could identify the correct studs so I can order them and get it stripped and fixed in the same day.

The studs are M18 x 1.5 (metric fine) and have about 40mm that’s visible beyond the drums. They are 6 studs, not sure of the make of the axles.

I have nipped them up and am only using it to move horse dung from the yard to the dung hero just now but can’t really have the wheel falling off.

I am mainly looking to know if anyone the back of them has a cut out or what style they are in side. If I can fine the I for on here I will just need to bite the bullet and strip it and try and make do without if for a week or so. Thought it worth an ask.

It looks like you have an ADR axle , you also have knock in studs.
I hope that has answered you question.

Thanks for that. An axle make is a big help. If by knock you mean knackered they very much are. That’s why I need new ones.

I have got it sorted. Thanks for the info.

if anyone ever had the same issue it’s an ADR 6 stud axle. Plane head on the inside, no anti rotation cut or anything. 20mm diameter on the splined grip section. Length of spline and threads is 50mm.

How many do you need. I bought a pack of them earlier in the year and may have a few spare which I could sell.
