Griffith's tipping trailer value

IMG_20180124_134838.jpg

It's not the best photo but it's a sound trailer, brakes and lights work and still on original tyres.
It's a 10ton with manual door.
What should it be worth privately?

This could be an interesting one, I've kind of had it for sale the last 6months just saying to few reps it's available but with covid I've not actually advertised it.
I've lent it to a customer and said if you wanted to buy it it's for sale.
I called him to say I need it back to put some feed in it, he said to me he will buy it as he managed to bend the side hitting it with loader I guess.
If I say I need X for it and he don't agree then it's now worth less for me so how do I go about a resolution? Probably proper valuation and insurance job?

It’s ok to use a trailer for both so long as it is washed out and appropriate disinfectant used. The new rule will make it necessary for it to be dry before feed use. I sold 2 similar trailers of 1984 build 8 years ago. £7k for the pair. They were tidy, but had done a lot of sugar beet haulage aswell as grain and muck.

If its not got a hyd tailgate, has panel damage and 27 yr old tyres on it, you will be lucky to get 3k for it IMO,esp to the trade.
Most likely will need an overhaul of the running gear as AS spec is not particularly robust.
