Grimme SV 260 potato harvesting

is that harvester any good at travelling in wet conditions?
Very, some of our land is on peat which can be soft even in good conditions. Travels very well on 1000/50 r25 tyres. Alot further then the GZ we had before and making alot less mess, would go places you wouldn't take a trailer when wet. Wheel motors on that are alot bigger than a GZ/GT aswell and in a different league in terms of pushing power, it just needs a fair bit of weight and power on the front to handle it in the worst conditions. Also digging offset saves making a mess of the ridges with tractor before they enter the harvester.

Hi @Curt, I've just bought a used sv260 currently running 800's. Looking to go wider, I can get hold of some 1050/50/32 wheels for reasonable money . Do you reckon they'd fit? or are the 1000's tight ?
