Gripple puller best make

What is the best make of gripple wire tension puller to buy,never seen one used,what prices are a good quality one,never used any gripples so haven,'t a clue.

Gripple supply two differant , one is tougher than the other and has longer handles so you get more pulling power with it , it's called the contractor model , this is the one to buy.

as far as I know. its only gripple themselves that make gripple tensioners

The longer handled so called ' contractor' one is better especially to put bit more tension on / easier to use
Theres Good deals to be had buying o ne with a bag of 250 gripples as well.

The long handled one makes it easier to keep your fingers out of the nettles.

I've never had a set of the 'contractor' ones. Are they that much easier to use?

Plastic ones are junk, only last so long and then they break. Contractor models are much better, but don’t put them between your knees for extra ooomph, you’ll break them too ??‍

Yep they arnt quite comfortabally up to putting on the amount of tension i want on a net anyway, nearly but not quite.

Also on the contractor one theres a little lever added to the wire gripper/ clamp. which makes it less fiddly to use when 'hooking on' the wire

Edit we dont use them at all, tho when on stay wires, just use a tourniquet for them ?
