We've just put tickets on sale for this years show, which will be on 23rd/24th June, just after Boris's end of restrictions day, 21st June. So we are planning to go ahead as normal. Except nothing is normal now, not even farming. There are some really interesting things going on,on farms around the country and we hope to cover those with a great selection of speakers and panels. We are not planning on having many, if any, speakers from abroad due to travel and quarantine restrictions, but there are more than enough locals to pick up the torch.

We'll be in tents (and I'm hoping not too intense) rather than barns this year, which should minimise covid risks. There are seven speaking tents at the moment, so you'll have the usual nightmare working out which talk to go to. We have a new demo field for the 12 or so drills, along with compost demos and all sorts of fun. At the risk of sounding like a salesman, I wouldn't hang about if you want a ticket, because we will be limiting numbers and we will sell out. I may be wrong, but...

Beaten the rush, and booked! As long as the sun shines and the bar is open, we will have fun...

Now, bike or car?

Tickets booked including camping for me and my better half. It will be our main summer holiday this year............................ She is very enthusiastic , we did the same in 2019 and she loved it ( apart from the steak barbeque ! ) Maybe you should do stuff for the ladies like knitting demonstrations .........;) ... now off to get my tin hat..........

Jokes aside, I think sometimes female friendly rural networking seminar or something like that is not a bad idea at all.

In an ideal world we would go on the motorbike and sleep under the stars in bivvy bags but i cant sell that idea to Helene so looks like it will be in the car and a two man tent with air mattresses....:(
It's worth looking at the glamping option...memory mattress etc etc £180 for the tent for three nights, (same tent costs £2799 at Glastonbury, just been looking at their website). Give the bike an outing, beat the queues on the way out...

Just booked a ticket for Mel. (y)

@martian : In the ticket checkout process there is no "not applicable" option for what crops you grow (being an all grass livestock farm) so I had to choose "other".

The options for what you currently do are all arable too with the exception of Silvopasture. Could you add in diverse leys and holistic grazing perhaps?
