I intended to nip home, easy, move the cows and return for a few hours but....

The cows weren't where I left them for the first time in 3 years, plus one of the dogs was hit by a car this evening. All fine now but too late to be worth returning now. Back tomorrow.

Having been very badly dumped in the crap this week by a large PLC customer it was a big contrast to witness the much nicer side to our industry and the direction of travel, which is away from those massive fossils.

2 excellent days at Groundswell, wonderfully hosted as usual by @martian and family, thank you. On arrival Wednesday morning I thought it had lost some of its previous years intimacy, this was quickly allayed. For obvious reasons the tents and seating had to be spaced, this didn’t effect the presenters vast knowledge being delivered to their audience. Good to see a large representation of fellow Kent farmers in attendance. Finally congratulations to Tom Swell and Sam Vincent as joint soil farmers of the year winners.

Awesome event .Best ever. Vibe was fantastic. Atmosphere in the earthworm arms was like the good old days in the college bar at Harper in the eighties.
Only trouble was i bumped into so many people had virtually no time to attend seminars!
