Looks like I'd need to brush up my Welsh for that one... ;)

I have actually popped it in the Diary though. A different slant on the job, is always of interest.

It's taken a bit of time, but we've now got a schedule of speakers up on the Groundswell website:
There will be some amendments, but nothing major (I hope). Like we've just heard George Monbiot will be there on the Wednesday, so we'll squeeze him in somewhere.

I hope those of you who've bought tickets already like the look of it...

There's some really interesting speakers dotted about in there that I thought I'd flag up to whet your appetites.
Like Lennart Olsson from Lund University in Sweden. He's collaborating with the Land Institute in Kansas and helping to develop perennial wheat type crops. I think that they are looking for partners in the UK to help take this forward...if you know anyone in this line, I'd point them to this talk.
I'm looking forward to hearing what Ben Macdonald has to say about birds...his book Rebirding is a must read for anyone who is in the slightest bit twitchy (most of you, I hope) and now he's had some experience of regenerative agriculture, I'm gripped to find out more about any benefits to birds.
Seth Itzkan has been blowing the trumpet for grazing animals, properly managed, for many years through his Soil 4 Climate organisation. If anyone needs facts that show these benefits, this is the talk for you. There's also Diana Rodgers, author of Sacred Cow, presenting the case for (better) meat.
Dwayne Beck is a living legend, running the South Dakota Research Farm for 40 odd years and he is chock full of insights and ideas that help us all see where we should be going and gives us the wherewithal to go there. There's a mini Dwayne that still sits on my shoulder giving advice, nearly ten years after I last talked to him. He oozes wisdom.
More later...

Can you get George Monbiot to come to Ben Macdonald's talk so he can learn the importance of grazing animals and wooded pasture to save me asking GM why he doesn't know already?
