The men from AHDB ..... in a session said we should stop keeping so many breeding sheep and fattening so many lambs. But should keep a big pet flock of rare breeds to eat the living mulch and cover crops instead, as there wasn’t a big enough market for lamb so we would knacker the job grazing cover crops productively ........ excellent work guys .....

Whilst there were some amazing messages at groundswell there was a small camp of the “how to make your massive land asset you own keep paying you lots of money without having to farm and produce much food”.

Funnily enough a few folk said I should have a talk I do enough of it. but someone has to give the side of the tenant farmer / grazier. We don’t all own large estates we can use as the canvas to create all of these wonderful things. And some of us need to produce food ...... to sell ...... to it our house rent.
