Guidance ready MF

If a Massey is being sold as guidance ready what does this actually mean? Is the wiring system there ready to plug in to?

@Farma Parma iirc you can answer this although I'm referring to a 77 not a 74. If that makes a difference?

MF used to be all TOPCON based but I think steering valve etc can be used by other makes and they are not as tightly affiliated to TOPCON as they were. From my own experience stay away from TOPCON in Northern Ireland as their knowledge and backup is non-existent, once you buy it you are on your own. I use two sets.

Anything that will plug into the isobus AFAIK.

you will need controller to try & make green star work in it but if I was you buy a trimble system cheaper better but get it on RTK

Ive a Trimble GFX-750 & NAV 900 units plugged into the CAN network on the tractor a 7499
everything works spoton.
The Installer lad had to run multicore cables thru can structure to the roof & back to around fusebox area then other cables to the Android Based Custom Tablet the GFX-750
also a engage switch was fitted to the armrest afterwards.
Fab seeing it steer & the wheel doesnt move.
Well impressed for a 2011 tractor to pretty much play n play this into it some 7years later.

Too add iam on Rangepoint RTX Correction
the £300 annual sub & it says its 15cm pass to pass
Its way closer than that id say its 5cm & no more.
But & here is the but it wont hold that A/B line you create at the start of the field for long, IE if you leave the field & dont return within a short time it will drift.
The parallel line will still be the there but poss move by half a metre or so.
You just line yourself up where you think it was & press remark, job sorted.
AFAIK to up this setup to full RTK is another £2.5/3k & £700/800 annual sub

They are set up for a Trimble or novatel receiver but I dont think the have a vdo3 like a factory set up fendt
