It's so serious and fundamental for UK ag, that I think if AIC won't change their rules, NFU/AHDB should explore a rival feed mill assurance scheme, then blow AIC out of the market.

We simply cannot have a situation whereby it's relatively easier for imports to access our markets than it is for ourselves.

It's absolutely crazy. What's worse, NFU and AHDB are company guarantors to RT and support RT, so NFU/AHDB are complicit in creating this situation.
Absolutely. And all we see on the front page of the farming press etc is Minette, yes Minette head of the Nfu would you believe, continually spouting her support for the fraudulent RT. And the Nfu own RT so don't want it to fail. Corruption.
Farmers just will not put up with this rubbish any longer.
It beggars belief.

The ahdb might help, the NFU won't and AIC certainly won't. It's up to us really.

Quite a few farmers have left the scheme so there will be an expanding market for that stuff.

Farmerm's digging has revealed what the Femas scheme requires. Maybe that's the icing on the cake for AIC, because it's farm assured, no further tests are needed. (See current threads on ergot in spring wheat this year)

NFU et al have to be complicit because if domestic and imports were allowed to be treated equally RT would soon cease to exist.

What still boils my pee is those who jumped in to RT in the early days, the two tier standards, one tier price position we now find ourselves in was entirely foreseeable.

We carried on selling malting barley right through until malsters said they wouldn't take it without RT stamp.
So we succumbed to being blackmailed by the owners of RT. The only alternative was for us to cease trading.
Thank you Nfu.

Evey farmer in the land went along with the blackmail.
Those that have done absolutely nothing towards ridding us of the beast don't deserve any of the payout.
Where do blackmailers eventually end up?

AIC are the people to aim for.

Merchants don't seem to have a lot of love for AIC and don't feel they get much for the money.

RT and NFU are one and the same. I don't see that Batters can talk about double standards with a straight face again so whilst we need to hold them to account they have contempt for any critic. The Union is losing a lot of goodwill over this but they won't change as they are not as interested in farmers as in PR.

AHDB are classic fence sitters. They will want to preserve what they have and try and please all. They still need challenging as they are accountable to all levy payers.

AIC are the ones we should continue gathering our evidence and formulating our position on a legal challenge. What they are doing is discriminatory practice right in front of everyone's eyes. All grain buyers need to be made aware of farmers unhappy with it, continue to push them on offering non assured. But AIC are the ones who are enforcing something which is discriminatory.

Can @Grass And Grain write a list of bullet points truly and accutlratley so that when I meet my MP I can have factually correct information to show the wrongs of the system. Please
Hmm wonder if there should be a farm assurance info sticky thread.

@Clive @Grass And Grain

maybe lock it as well and just have a mod add any relevant info as needed so nothing is lost in the many pages of to-img and fro-ing it’s bound to generate
