GYO - eco weed control

Anyone use the stuff its starch based http://www.mulchorganic.co.uk/products and you can plough in later (not us we dont plough) But Im not a fan of the woven stuff as it gets messy and having tatty plastic around the place trying to find new home is annoying . Dont mind paying a bit extra. But dont want to be weeding like last year.

Just wondered if its just as good really. The cheap woven stuff is under £20 a roll so its not excessively more.

I've not used it, but have used sheets of cardboard on my allotment in the past, and it's hard to see how this product really differs from that. The cardboard worked really well btw, especially around perenial plants, and I would weigh it down with a light sprinkling of wood chip.
