H&L milk taxi or Urban milk shuttle?

Anyone got on well with the JFC Milk Kart, with both pump, mixer and the additional heater? Been looking for a while and just hoping it will be a good investment for the calf enterprise, making life easier for both calves and calf feeder.

Only had it about 6 months, so far it’s been brilliant. No problems, sped up calf feeding and made it a lot easier than carting buckets round. Reckon the calves are doing just a little bit better as well (y)

Just a heater that drops in the milk I think works off a 3 pin plug. I was just wondering how long it takes to heat up. I’ve had a quote on a urban milk shuttle but the price is eye watering. They do look good though.
I’ve got the 170 litre JFC one. We found cheapest and quickest way was steam cleaner with 50 litres of very hot water and 100 lites of cold. I tried with milk warmer but was a good 2 hours.
the grant scheme that’s just opened has these all singing/dancing ones on them. For the couple months when we’re busy with calves jfc one does fine.

I’ve got two for heating buckets of colostrum. Ok for a 10-20 l amount, tedious otherwise.
For instant hot water at the correct temperature I’ve just put in a Vaillant instant water heater. Cold water in, 40*C water out , bought on eBay, £50. Takes a fair slug of leccy, 24kW, 3 phase!

I have a 200l barrel with a ball cock and the collar heater Inside, tap on bottom Into Jfc, have the heater on a timer comes on at 5am for 7:30am feed and 3pm for 5:30pm feed , works well for me as my calf shed only has a extension cable power supply so any of these massive power heaters are a no go

I did and I’d still sell it if anyone is looking. I only bought it out of sympathy for the other half when she had 70 to feed as we were down with tb.
Less than 12/15 and it’s just as quick with a dump bucket by the time you wash it off.
Last lot just gone until end of April and even then as long as we stay tb clear and can sell every week won’t be that quantity again.

We were the same in the spring was under Tb and lots of calves on milk hard work carrying buckets everywhere. Just after something to make it easier.

Urban milk shuttle is brilliant. Anyone can feed calves, and the dosing mechanism means it's the same every time. There are a few things to calibrate that can take a bit of time, but once it's set up, there's no looking back.

They do look a brilliant bit of kit I had a look at the grant but that’s only on ones with a pasteuriser and we feed powder milk. 🙄. My only thought with the jfc one is pulling it around (being female) but everyone else sounds like they manage ok.
