What proof do you need to show to get a Halfords trade card? I see Farming is not on their list of trades to get a card.

I had to show mechanical certificates, but that was some time ago.....

was often in the place & got to know the manager which poss helped i dunno & the fact i said i need a VAT receipt blah blah blah
buy all my Batteries off them more so coz of the long warranty you get on them Yuasa ones they sell
I see no point in getting any from main dealers unless there giving you 5yr warranty & most dont

I took a business card, and strictly, the business i work for are not in the same "trade" as Halfords. Lady just looked at it and that was it.
Id go so far as to say use someone elses business card or mke a business letterhead and print one off

I got one and was asked for no proof the fact the lady behind the counter was a Liverpool fan and I had a reds shirt on probably clinched it

I gave up with Halfords, the parts desk is always manned by the thickest kids they could find. They don't hold any parts in stock, they now order them from EuroParts around the corner. The branch is nearly 2hrs from me and you can't order parts over the phone for in store collection. The only thing they were good for was batteries, wiper blades and bulbs. All are available closer to me.

Is there much benefit from a trade card? I didn't think you could use it for things that are already on offer.....and I've found Halfords expensive for things when not on offer.

some stuff is good and priced ok, so the trade card makes it good.
I got a trade card and ive only ever bought a toolbox from them,

I belong to the AA so get 10% off from Halfords but you have to print the voucher off their app. or show it in shop off your iPhone,
