Hampshire pigs

Is there any one on here using hampshire sows or hampshirex duroc. If so what boars are you putting with them. Would a pietrian get me nice shaped pigs or would large white or hampshire be as good. I also have some large white sows but i,m getting a lot more farrowing problems with them.

I forgot to say , i am also on the look out for a nice boar to serve some young gilts. Peoples thoughts will be much appreciated.

Not now but when breeding we used Hampshire X sows put to Large White boars (outdoors). Good all round, Hardy, stocky boars. Pietran - not so tasty. Hampshire onto Hampshire not as prolific?
