Hand Throttle for Dumper

Does such a thing exist, can you get one or get one of a scrapped machine and put it on her
I have a 9 ton Thwaites dumper and a hand throttle would be a useful addition when tipping.

When I broke my leg a few years ago I fabricated a hand throttle to fit JCB loader.
Fairly rudimental but effective...simple hand lever attached via a rod to the foot throttle.
It allowed me to carry on working albeit a little slower :ROFLMAO:

Something like what was fitted to a S3 diesel Land Rover popped into my head….
An entirely mechanical linkage.
Or an old British motorbike choke cable & the lever clamped to a short tube.

Google remote throttle control.

Left foot on brake, right foot on throttle.
You can actually right for brake and apply throttle enough to tip if you get you're foot in the right place, or apply the handbrake to tip like h+s say you should 🤦
Tbh it's one of the things which modern "ergonomics" have ruined, take an older dumper from the 80s and before and you can one for the brake and throttle to tip no probs.
I'm not a fan of adding a hand throttle tbh as it's likely to end up with throttle partly applied and a rough arse holding back on the brakes all the time and a gearbox repair long term.
