For the past couple of years i have been using an old top fill tanker to start spreading slurry in spring, it is 1300gallon with 28.1r26, floats. only reason i dont use it in summer is the pipe from the slurry mixer to the tanker is to hard for one man to put up. Tow farms are away from home and often o struggle to get the pipe prop extended with the pipe or else could spend an evening using the loader tractor then home for another to spread. sorry no pictures to explain but im sure some of the members here know what i mean or could come up with an idea. I prefer it for the close land close to farms as it is handy and light on the ground, also no pipe to handle, can do a full day slurry and not stink, or sink. The other tanker is 2250 and good for long draws but if ground is wet or iffy it gets tricky very quick.
