There is something about a suckler cow and calf that really sums up all that is good about british farming a bit like a ewe with 2 good lambs

No chance of a pic of the one that calved here before tea time!!!
Went to pen it up and ended up doing a Usain Bolt to escape!! Surprised myself how fast I jumped the barrier.
Left dad watching it on the camera, hopefully it will suck without a help.

Something we are going to look into is putting alot of cameras up in the shed so easy to ha e a quick check more regularly

Stonking great calf for a heifer, glad the cow's a second calver

It is interesting watching the cows on camera, see them do allsorts from lying flat out so you have to watch for a bit to make sure they haven't pegged it, to seeing the bull having a roll, one minute they are beating each other up then they are licking each other

Do all ours there!

Find it easy to see really, and when all eating can walk up the centre passage and see every single number if needing to find one or anything like that with ease!

Do the fb always come out ? i did 40 heifers every year for 5 year and lots of fails so gave up, yours look good ?
