So you’ve seen the grant for 300mm tree shear with rotator then…..

If I it allows me to buy the rotator as well then sounds good.

Small stuff you need a few bits of it to grab it again .

I'm talking about making big stacks for the chipper coming in I'm cutting anything from mixed woodland from scrub to as big as the shear will cut it's only for feeding biomass boilers so just cutting what we can ourselves

Same here, just trying to reduce saw work and get round saw/lone working issues.

Though they may not qualify for the grant scheme with limited travel rotator? unless anyone knows different?
I could do with the grant to help me stretch to the rotator bit as well.

That'll be a heavy outfit. I'd like a rotator for my 300 OMEF but i think I'd need a bigger digger to handle it

It bolts on so you would have a few bolts to take out of it then your bracket to swap them round but can be done

It isn't just the extra weight but the extra distance between the shear and the bucket pins

Mine on my 8t jcb I know it handles it fine with a big tree but with that worm rotator and the extra distance I'd want a 13t on it for my stuff
