harp-plant.co.uk fraudulent website

Why is 90% frauds from UK ? I really cannot understand that, is it so easy to open company there or police cannot catch those barstewards ? Few days ago I read that one guy paid around 7000 Euros to some thief from UK, sent the truck for machines and when it came nothing there. It seems that they take all infos from legit companies and then I gues change IBAN account number and you send the money to them. Banks should always compare IBAN and written seller details and address.

Can you report this website and take it down ? Where to check the company except here on the forum ? UK is really the worst on that problem.

Yes, that is really great from you ! But I just wanted to know why most of the frauds here in Europe are on UK websites. It is really like 90% all extra cheap machines and bad english fraud sellers are based in UK and they send you some UK bank account. I think that the police and law could do better job in that area there.

i suppose all they need is a few fish in a rather well stocked lake altho it bewilders me how some (even times smart) men do take the bait, shurley common sense has to kick in at some point one would hope.
i mean, what happened the analogy of,
"if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is" game plan.
if i seen something and i wasn't sure, id do a google image search to see if its been round the block, surprising times what turns up.

there's a lot of scammers out there, its a big playing field with a lot of smart cookies on it, good and bad unfortunately.

Yes it took several conversations and some patience but sorted in the end..........unfortunately they have a habit of reincarnating under a new guise...

All we can do is hope everyone remains extra vigilant when getting tempted by some cheap shiny metal ...

Why do you assume that these fraudsters are UK based? This is the internet and they could be in deepest Nigeria for all we know. All it needs is a contact in the UK and even that might not be needed. It probably needs someone that is fluent in English with an appropriate accent, and is adept at lying of course. There's plenty of those. Probably queuing up for such jobs.

Oh yes you could be very correct Mr Duck.
The small fact that the so called operation that website was based on didnt have the best of records on companies house wouldnt give me much confidence there all 100% neither but none of us know any of the true facts.
Watermark all of anyone's pics & jobs sorted id say.

Well they are exclusively on co.uk web pages, numbers are UK based, all companies are LTD and all those hint to UK seller. They also give UK addresses, a month ago one guy sent 5-6000 GBP for 2 tractors and UK address was given for loading, truck came and no company or the seller.

Maybe coz english is easiest language in Europe, nothing personal.

Reckon they use uk websites because this country has an awful lot of gullible trusting souls.....
