The Hartline was developed in the early 80's with a four way cross of Welsh half bred x Finn/Colbred x Texel x East Friesland.
Stephen Hart was well ahead of his time when it came to developing a maternal ewe ' fit for purpose'
A few years back Innovis put a Hartline ram over a proportion of Abertex ewes & I had the best indexed ram back to use as an out cross on these Hartline ewes.
The Rams pictured are the best 5% for combined weaning weights. This was raw data selection from in house recording Tru test/ Border Software , they do not have a Signet or Innovis index.
I hope this helps!
