Hartpury Tech Talk Week

What are your thoughts on the Agri-Tech Industry? Is the farming future really robotic? What farming problems do you think could be solved with technology? How could you become more innovative? What solutions are around the corner?

These are the kinds of questions you could get answered during our Tech Talk Week from the 11 May - 17 May.

Our tech talk week is an open phone line to the Hartpury Agri-Tech Centre from 7am - 6pm, Monday - Sunday. This will allow you to receive a free consultation, share your views and perhaps learn something new about technology in agriculture. So whether you’re in the tractor, milking, lambing, or have some spare minutes in the day - we are flexible to you.

We understand that agriculture and farming is a 24/7 industry and now busier than ever as a result of Covid-19. These times have highlighted its importance and how it must be supported to ensure sustainable food production for a growing global population.

One way in helping the industry achieve this is with successful utilisation of technology and new practice; and enabling a voice for everyone across the supply chain with a view on this subject is key.

We want all those involved or interested in this area to share their views, good, bad and the ugly! Whether you’re a farmer, student, business or member of the public, we want to hear from you!

How do I take part and who do I talk to?
Calls will be sent to our Agri-Tech Centre Manager, Ben Thompson.

The Tech Talk phone line will be open 7am-6pm, Monday –Sunday. Contact details to be published on the 11th May on our webpage - https://www.hartpury.ac.uk/events/2020/05/tech-talk-week/

To ensure you get to speak to us, you can pre-book your call by sending us an email to [email protected] including a preferred time and date during the week and we will be in touch asap.
