We were very lucky , as apart from a few spots, it missed me as I was combining oats. It rained back at the yard.
Finished the oats at last , and been on wheat until now. Balers came and did some straw as well, so had some luck for a change.
Good to hear, In my frustration I'd written the day off, but after milking it had blown up really well so popped a did a couple of trailer loads. Catch it when you can.. Forecast looks very good for weekend, not sure we can trust it though..

I’ve got to tread carefully at the weekend. Family wedding on Saturday at Great Ness, with family coming from all over, even Australia. So no combining that day. Then there’s an after wedding bbq on the Sunday for family, and it’s my wife’s birthday. Would you risk going combining on Sunday ?

Had a good day in WW, started after lunch at 15.5% and it soon dropped below 15% for the first time this season, into the last field of WW and it was down to 13.2%, just knocked off with 16 acres to do tomorrow, then on to some SW (if fit) or 80 acres of SB.
